Job Stream ("we", "us") provides a mobile application that lets construction and field-work crews stream live video from job sites to their organization's management and site supervisors, and makes recordings of those streams available for later review (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Job Stream is a business tool. In most cases your employer or the company that runs your job site (your "Organization") controls the account, decides who can stream and who can watch, and manages recordings. Where that is the case, the Organization is responsible for its own use of the footage, and this policy describes how we handle the data on the Organization's behalf and for our own operations.

01Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, phone number, role, and the Organization you belong to — provided when you or your Organization sets up your account.
  • Video and audio. The live streams captured through the app and the recordings made from them. Streams may include images and voices of the person filming and of other people present on the job site.
  • Site and stream metadata. Which site or project a stream is associated with, stream titles or labels, timestamps, duration, and who viewed a stream.
  • Device and usage data. Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and how the app is used — collected automatically to keep the Service working and secure.

02People on camera

Job Stream captures video on active job sites, which means workers, subcontractors, and visitors may appear on camera. Laws about workplace recording, surveillance notice, and audio recording vary by state and country. The Organization that operates the account — not Job Stream — decides when and where to stream, and is responsible for providing any legally required notice to, or obtaining any required consent from, people on its sites.

If you believe you were recorded on a Job Stream feed and have questions about that footage, contact the company operating the job site first, since it controls the account and its recordings. You can also reach us at support@hydroxapp.com.

03How we use information

  • To provide the Service: transmit live streams to authorized viewers, store recordings, and make them available for playback within your Organization.
  • To operate accounts: sign-in, verification, and account notices.
  • To keep the Service safe and reliable: debugging, abuse prevention, security monitoring, and service analytics.
  • To support you: responding to questions and requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your job-site video to build advertising profiles.

04How information is shared

  • Within your Organization. This is the point of the product: streams and recordings are visible to the supervisors, managers, and other members your Organization authorizes.
  • Service providers. We use third-party infrastructure to run the Service — cloud hosting, video streaming, and storage providers that process data under contract for us.
  • Legal. We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users, the public, or the Service.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

05Retention and deletion

Recordings are retained so your Organization can review them, and are deleted when the Organization deletes them or closes its account, or per the retention settings that apply to the account. Account information is kept while your account is active and for as long as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes afterwards.

To request deletion of your account data, contact your Organization's administrator or email us at support@hydroxapp.com.

06Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, and we limit access to streams and recordings to the people the Organization has authorized. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — report any suspected issue to support@hydroxapp.com.

07Your choices and rights

  • You can access and update your account information in the app.
  • You can request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us; where your Organization controls the data, we may direct your request to it.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law (such as the CCPA or GDPR). We honor valid requests as required by the law that applies to you.

08Children

The Service is a workplace tool and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use it, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice through the app or the site. The policy takes effect when the Service publicly launches.
